(SANEPR.com) June 5, 2009 -- AMAUTA SPANISH SCHOOL is conveniently located in a beautiful building with spacious classrooms and a small garden. There is a subway connection close by that takes students in a few minutes anyway in town. The school is well organized. Group classes have maximum six numbers and the teachers are enthusiastic and fun. Teaching materials were good, although some photocopies hard to read. Students enjoyed the use of laptops and DVD´s in the classrooms and the enthusiams of the teachers. The program of extra-curricular activities is well organized and should attract a lot of students. Activities vary from lectures, to movie presentations to visits to museums and other places of interest. AMAUTA also organizes accommodation with local guest families. Most students were happy with their accommodation although many commented that most homst families seem to be older ladies that live alone (not the “family” most students would expect). The staff is helpful and friendly; the courses and accommodation at AMAUTA are reasonably priced. AMAUTA also offers the possibility to work in different volunteer projects: hospitals, clinics, orphanages, communcal kitchens etc. The school runs it´s own in-house travel agency.
