All Homes On The Web Ready With Next Generation E-Commerce Real Estate Websites

Raleigh, N.C., USA (SANEPR.com) May 30, 2008 -- The anti-competitive and anti-trust settlement reached on Tuesday between the U. S. Department of Justice and the National Association of Realtors on internet listings for home sellers creates a new competitive marketplace.

The new competitive landscape is perfectly suited for a new type of innovative multi-functional real estate website selling platform.

The U. S. Department of Justice announced a proposed settlement with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) that requires NAR to allow Internet-based residential real estate brokers to compete with traditional brokers.

The Department said the settlement will enhance competition in the real estate brokerage industry, resulting in more choice, better service, and lower commission rates for consumers. The new websites developed by All Homes On The Web allow both brokers and sellers to jointly conduct online marketing strategies. “We think most sellers are frustrated by the status quo mentality of brokers in selling their homes,” said Vass. “Our websites allow sellers a greater level of control to sell their property, while also getting the benefit of marketing through the local MLS.”

Under the terms of the settlement, NAR will repeal its anticompetitive policies and require affiliated multiple listing services (MLSs) to repeal their rules that were based on these policies.

NAR will enact a new policy that guarantees that Internet-based brokerage companies will not be treated differently than traditional brokers. Under the new policy, brokers participating in a NAR-affiliated MLS will not be permitted to withhold their listings from brokers who serve their customers through virtual office websites (VOWs).

“Our new e-commerce internet real estate selling platforms consists of the broker’s own parent website, and the capacity for the broker to create hundreds and hundreds of identical seller websites that look and function just like the main parent website.

The main parent broker real estate platform contains all of the broker’s own listings, and access to the listings from all of the local MLS, if the broker is a member of the MLS. Each of the broker’s selling agents also have their own website connected to the main parent website.

In addition to the MLS listings the new websites contain listings from Non-MLS sellers (FSBO) and listings from other internet real estate websites.

The new All Homes On The Web templates are fully automated, and self-managed, with a built-in photo editor so that photos and videos can be easily uploaded into each seller’s own website.
