BHM featured 4 speakers at the Fall Managed Care Forum Nov. 12-13 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV, January 20, 2010 -- Behavioral Health Management (BHM), a leader among health care consulting firms specializing in behavioral health care has recently feature four speakers at the nationally recognized Fall Managed Care Forum held in Las Vegas.

BHM a consulting firm specializing in healthcare strategic management recently featured 4 speakers at the Fall Managed Care Forum of 2009.

The conference which was sponsored by the American Association of Managed Care Nurses, the National Association of Managed Care Physicians, and the Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems was a conference that was said to provide the best networking opportunities, while providing and presenting innovative solutions to today’s healthcare challenges.

Anne Llewellyn, Editor in Chief of Case in Point Magazine stated that “the program brought all 3 groups together in one setting and presented information that was high level and pertinent to the audience. The focus of the program was squarely on quality improvement, cost containment, health information technology and clinical excellence.”

Among presenters at the conference were four BHM physicians and specialists including BHM President Mark Rosenberg. Dr. Rosenberg gave a presentation entitled ‘Inattention, Hyperactivity and Impulsivity: The Diagnosis, Management, and Treatment of Behavioral Deficits Attributed to ADHD Diagnosis.’ Dr. Rafeyan, a BHM associate presented ‘Depression: The Physical and Fiscal Impact on Patient, Society, and Payers’, while Dr. Faber gave a talk entitled ‘Developing a Cost Effective Disease Management Program for the Bipolar Disorder Patient Population,’ and finally Dr. Sicuro gave an exceptional presentation on Alzheimer’s Disease entitled ‘Alzheimer’s Disease: Early Diagnosis and Treatment.’ All four presentations were very well received and the audience participation was high. All four talks helped participants better understand how the various behavioral health disorders not only produce significant suffering for the patient and their family but have significant social impact as well. All of our speakers addressed ways that the illnesses could be treated in the highest quality yet most cost effective manner.
