BlushBlog offers an open forum

USA (SANEPR.com) January 20, 2009 -- BlushBlog explores and discusses the female experience. BlushBlog aims to transcend the daily online journal format and address issues beyond those the authors experience.

The authors launched BlushBlog with the intent to offer and share with women around the world insight into the vast complexities of womanhood. “Women are sweet and sour and bold and sensitive. We want to capture that on BlushBlog. We want our readers to engage in dialogue that will uplift, inspire, and resonate with women from all walks of life. Our lives are riddled with the beautiful, the ugly, the triumphant, and the troubled. BlushBlog seeks to be the sounding board for all things woman,” said Nadia W., co-founder and co-author of BlushBlog.

Founders and authors, Nadia and Rae, have been friends for more than a decade. Rae is a single career woman, and Nadia is a working mother and wife. Both women hale from the Washington DC metropolitan area. They have shared their successes and struggles with each other over the years and understand the importance of women supporting each other. “We present an open forum. Nothing is out of bounds on BlushBlog as long as there are no personal attacks. We want our participants to feel welcomed and comfortable. Our topics are unlimited. BlushBlog will address relationships, children, career, self-esteem, intimacy and anything else Nadia and I or our readers experience. Whether women simply want to be heard through comments to existing posts or whether they want to email us directly with an issue or opinion they want us to address in a post, we welcome all women and anonymity will be respected,” says Rae S.
