Butterball, LLC Debuts Podcast Series with The National Provisioner

USA (SANEPR.com) June 25, 2009 -- America’s largest turkey producer, Butterball, LLC, has teamed with The National Provisioner to develop a monthly podcast series that debuted May. Each Butterball podcast will feature executive team members offering commentary on various components of Butterball’s successful operational strategies.

A focus on the company’s award-winning worker safety programs will kick off the series. Subsequent podcasts will cover an array of topics pertinent to the meat processing industry such as ethanol, food safety initiatives, sustainability and Butterball’s seasonal and holiday marketing strategies.

This podcast project was developed after Butterball’s industry-leading worker safety initiatives were featured in The National Provisioner’s January 2009 cover story. Andy Hanacek, executive editor of The National Provisioner, visited the company’s Huntsville, AR facility and reported on the worker safety strategies in the story “Safe Haven.”
