Crystal scores molecule win over Syngenta![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
India (SANEPR.com) July 24, 2009 -- In a landmark decision Hon’ble Delhi High Court, standing with the domestic agrochemical Industry dismissed a controversial claim by Swiss agrochemical giant Syngenta, that Govt. of India should not grant Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG to Indian company Jaishree. (Presently known as Crystal Phosphates Ltd.). Hon’ble Justice Mr. S. Ravindra Bhat ruled that litigation filed by Syngenta was speculative. In addition to this the court also penalized Syngenta to bear third respondents (crystal Phosphates Ltd) cost for hearings, quantified at Rs. 75,000/- per hearing.
