Macau (SANEPR.com) May 8, 2008 -- Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2008 will honor the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, founder of Genting Group, with its first G2E Asia Visionary Award for his significant and positive contributions to Asia’s gaming-entertainment industry. The honoree’s son, Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, chairman, president and chief executive of Genting Group, will accept the award on behalf of his father and will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program keynote luncheon, taking place June 3, 2008, at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at the Venetian Macao. The 2008 G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program is held in conjunction with G2E Asia 2008, which is scheduled for June 3-5.

In a keynote address titled Successful Strategies in Partnering with Government – Integrated Resorts Driving Tourism and Growth, Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay will share his experience and advice with Asia’s next generation of gaming industry leaders. The address is one of the highlights of the inaugural G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program and will be open to all G2E Asia conference attendees. A day-long event for gaming industry management professionals, the G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program will offer expert-led workshops specifically designed to address the subjects and trends that are most crucial to success in the Asian gaming market. Enrollment for the G2E Asia Gaming Management Certificate program is limited, and professionals who attend the program will receive an official certificate of completion from G2E Asia, the University of Macau and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas – Singapore campus.
In addition, G2E Asia 2008 will now provide gaming industry professionals with three full days of high-quality conference content at the G2E Asia conference.
