GAO Tek Inc. has released a new GAO5854 E1 / Datacom Tester

Toronto, ON, USA (SANEPR.com) October 27, 2008 -- GAO Tek Inc. has released a new GAO5854 E1 / Datacom Tester. It is a multi-functional and full-featured digital transmission system test device, designed for installation testing, engineering check and acceptance, and daily maintenance of digital networks. Main functions include channel test, alarm analysis, faultfinding and signal analysis. In addition, this instrument further provides various protocol converters with one-way and bi-directional bit-error-test functions. These capabilities make it ideal for field use.

Out-of-service 2Mb/s, N×64kb/s BER testing
• Datacom testing
DTE or DCE emulation mode
• G.703 CO testing
G.703 CO 64kb/s BER testing

• High resolution backlight LCD
• Smart navigation mode displays
• Extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication
• Histogram analysis of alarm and error events
• Save/Recall of up to 10 user-defined setups and 10 sets of results
• Up to 6 hours operation from a single battery charge
• Can be charged with automobile cigarette lighter battery adapter
