Canada (SANEPR.com) November 4, 2008 -- The Ironside has an impressively long read-range of up to eight meters (8m) on metal and can easily be attached to any metal surface either mechanically or by using industrial adhesives. In addition, this small, fully encapsulated tag has been successfully used in asset tracking applications such as railway and warehousing solutions, and it has successfully passed the rigorous testing requirements for Aerospace standard AS5678 specification.
The Survivor is another highly durable Class 1 Gen 2 hard tag suitable both for on-metal mounting and for most other surface. This long read-range passive tag offers the best performance-to-cost ratio in the industry. It has been productively deployed in container applications and is an ideal solution for tracking large and valuable assets such as vehicles or metal pipes.
The Halo RFID tag provides IP68 defenses from many harsh conditions based on its light-weight and high-strength temperature resistant plastic housing. Its fine design allows easy attachment either through adhesive, tape or its mounting holes. Supporting a read-range of three to four meters (3-4m) on-metal, this tag works well with either a fixed or handheld RFID reader and is suited for many inventory and warehouse apps. The well-designed tag can accurately track IT assets such as routers or servers.
