GL Solutions Wins North Carolina MMIS Project

DHSR regulates health care facilities and agencies, emergency medical services, and local confinement facilities, ensuring that the people in the care of these facilities/services are safe and receive appropriate care. The overall goal of the new system is to continue to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery, which in turn will improve beneficiary and population outcomes. DHHS sought a vendor with a strong technology base in business process management, experience within government health service regulation, and the technical expertise to implement in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

DHSR’s high-level project objective is to have GL Solutions implement GL Suite to improve productivity by reducing technology-driven silos in DHSR’s business and by automating manual business processes. The contract will come under the direction of the Office of Medicaid Management Information System Services and the work will be performed both on site at DHHS facilities and at GL Solutions headquarters in Bend, Oregon.
