Hong Kong (SANEPR.com) April 16, 2009 -- Garant Partners is proud to announce the addition of Patrick Leung, LLM to the firm. Mr. Leung joins the firm as partner and will lead the firm's Corporate Law Department.
Mr. Leung has more than 25 years of experience as a corporate lawyer representing clients ranging from Fortune 1000 companies and financial institutions to middle market companies, emerging growth companies and entrepreneurs. He is a corporate generalist with a broad range of experience that includes venture capital and private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate partnering, commercial transactions, licensing and other technology transactions and public offerings of securities. He has served as outside or in-house chief legal officer managing all legal affairs including litigation management, government regulatory affairs, intellectual property protection and employee relations.
For many years Patrick was a Partner of the major law firm, Wong and Partners LLP, serving as Chair of the Corporate Department. Before joining Garant Partners, he was a Partner of the highly regarded Hong Kong law firm, Diaz and Targ, serving as Chair of the Corporate Department.
Leung received his JD degree in 1975 from the City University of Hong Kong and his LLM in corporate law in 1979 from the New York University School of Law.
