Grand River Whitewater Rafting Attracts Corporate Team Building Groups from Toronto.

(SANEPR.com) December 11, 2008 -- Canada (SANEPR) December 5, 2008 On the Grand Nith River, Toronto corporate groups can do a day of whitewater rafting within one hour of the city. This river system is located in Paris, Ontario, three miles off the 403, between Toronto and London.

This is an April-May adventure. The trips begin on the Nith River and end in the Grand River. Groups meet in Paris and then shuttle upstream to the Nith. Then the rafting trip paddles back to the vehicles in Paris. The trips are 3-5 hours in length.

The whitewater rafts comfortably seat up to six plus a river guide. The rafts are self bailing, stable and easy to manage. The 2-3 kilometer whitewater section is near the end of the trip. The standing waves are over 1 meter high. There are three sections of whitewater with short calm spots in between. After this three-part section the Nith River flows out into the Grand River. On the Grand River there is a final 100 yard dash of rapids. Then a one kilometer drift to the parked vehicles.

Size, age or skill play no factor… everyone can enjoy the experience in safety and comfort. The paddling camaraderie in the raft adds a new dimension to getting to know one another.

The trips are offered by the Grand River Rafting Company, located near Paris. Corporate groups can choose their own starting time. This rafting company will customize each trip to accommodate catered shore lunches, shuttles, meeting rooms, overnight accommodations and dinner reservations. They can accommodate from 4 to 50 people. Prices start at $250 per raft of six people, all inclusive.
