Laguna Hills, CA, USA (SANEPR.com) April 21, 2008 -- For over thirty years, the IAPHC, The Graphic Professionals Resource Network, has been awarding graphics professionals through their International Gallery competition. Two publications from Stampington & Company, Take Ten and Somerset Studio, were selected as recipients of silver awards from more than 2,300 entries in this prestigious contest.
Entries from around the world were presented to more than three dozen international judges during three intensive rounds of judging, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota from September 26-28, 2007. Stampington & Company received two silver awards, in conjunction with Quebecor World Midland printing company, for “Superb Craftsmanship in the production of” issues of Take Ten and Somerset Studio.
“We are honored to have received these awards, knowing that they come from our peers within the graphic design industry,” says President and Founder of Stampington & Company, Kellene Giloff. “This acknowledgement reinforces our belief in the ability of magazines to set new standards for graphic design in a world that is increasingly visual.”
Take Ten and Somerset Studio are released quarterly and bi-monthly respectively, and are available directly through Stampington & Company or on newsstands in the “Craft & Hobby” section. To learn more about the IAPHC, or the 33rd International Gallery, visit www.iaphc.org.
