Green Packet Partners Beceem to Introduce New High-Performance WiMAX Dongles

Steadfast in its commitment to enhance its products and services while providing better end-user experiences, Green Packet has based its UM350 USB dongle on Beceem’s BCSM250 single chip solution. Beceem is a leading contributor to the rapid growth of the WiMAX ecosystem, and has set themselves as the enabler of high quality chipsets at very reasonable price points.

In a show of strength, Green Packet will be demonstrating seamless mobility using its two top selling solutions; the UM350 USB dongle and Intouch Connection Management Platform (ICMP) on Worldmax’s commercial 3.5GHz network at the WiMAX Forum Global Congress in Amsterdam (WFGC-Amsterdam). This showcase will demonstrate session persistence as well as illustrate uninterrupted connection and application usage as the user moves between WiMAX and WiFi. The WFGC-Amsterdam event takes place from 2 to 3 June 2009.
