Gulf Jet signs $70m contract with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation

UAE (SANEPR.com) December 12, 2007 -- Gulf Jet LLC, the premier executive aviation company in the Region, has signed a $70m contract with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation to acquire two new Hawker 4000s, one new Hawker 900 XP and two new Premier 1A jets, as a part of its fleet expansion programme. The purchase contract was signed between Gulfjet and Hawker Beechcraft Corporation during the Dubai air show.

Each Hawker Beechcraft aircraft is the best in its class, designed to offer maximum luxury, travel comfort and the highest safety standards with lower operating costs. Acquisition of the aircraft is aimed at serving an extremely time conscious travelers, including royals, VVIPS and CIPs in the Gulf region and beyond.

Gulfjet fleet currently includes, two Brand new Citation-XLS and one Citation Sovereign. A brand new KingAir-350 ER is joining the fleet shortly, to cater to the requirements of price conscious business travellers in this region.
