HDFC Bank Presents Premium “Solitaire” Range of Cards Just for Women!

The Indian women of today are busy pursuing their career, managing their home and striking a balance between the two. To serve their busy lifestyle, HDFC Bank has launched a premium bouquet of cards; ‘Solitaire Premium’ and ‘Solitaire’, developed by the Bank’s all-women team, offer a unique combination of lifestyle and wellness benefits that are tailor-made for women. On 30th November, 2011, HDFC Ltd. MD, Renu Sud Karnad, unveiled the ‘Solitaire Premium’, the first premium women’s card in the country.
“While Solitaire will provide unmatched lifestyle offers, its wellness aspects will help women take holistic care of themselves in the midst of a busy career,” said Mr. Parag Rao, Business Head, Credit Cards & Merchant Acquiring, HDFC Bank. The benefits range from Free Health Check Packages to Shopping and Travel perks.
More significantly, a portion of all spends on Solitaire and Solitaire Premium Credit Card will be contributed to SOS Children's Villages, India, towards the annual education expenses of 60 girl children. “HDFC Bank is proud to partner with SOS Children’s Villages of India to help shape the future of disadvantaged girls,” said Mr. Rao.
With the ‘Solitaire’ range, the Bank aims to fill the vacuum in the premium credit card segment for women and fulfill the long-standing needs of women.
