“Hey World, Want to Vote for the Next President?”

Productions, is asking the whole world to answer. The ingenious, non-partisan website gives the world a chance to take part in daily political polls and mock-vote for the candidate they think should become the next U.S. President. As the U.S. embarks upon what political analysts say may be the most important election since Kennedy took office over 45 years ago, the new website gives Americans a glimpse of what the rest of the world is thinking.

“I want to gauge what America—and the world—is feeling about U.S. politics,” said Greg Fox, president of D.O.U. Productions. “This is the most diverse field of hopefuls we have ever seen--dealing with topics ranging from Homeland Security to gay marriage.”

Starting today, every Tuesday through November 4, 2008 is Election Day at PresidentialPrediction.com. Anybody can register and voting is free.

In the U.S., the website’s polls are open each Tuesday from 7:00AM to 7:00PM in a user’s time zone. Those voting from outside the U.S. are considered “world voters” and may vote any time each Tuesday, no matter where they are located.

Weekly election results will be posted as the votes come in. Once the polls have closed, final vote tabulations and week-to-week totals can be seen and compared. Maps indicating which states primarily voted Republican “Red” and which voted Democratic “Blue” will be shown in real time. In separate tabulations, those voting from France, Germany, Canada, Japan, Israel, England, Iran and the rest of the world will also be shown and compared.

Fox adds, “Voters are fickle. Televised debates, National Conventions, and media coverage all play a role in determining who is left standing on Election Day. Even though ours is a mock-vote, I think we will learn a lot about our political position in the world, and that is what PresidentialPrediction.com is all about.”
