Horizon Signal Opens a New Office in Waco, Texas

Pittsburg, USA (SANEPR.com) April 28, 2008 -- Horizon Signal, a leading manufacturer of portable traffic signals, proudly announces the opening of its new sales office in Waco, Texas. Currently Horizon Signal employs 16 people in various field offices across the United States, and in its manufacturing plant located in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

The new Waco office is necessary due to the need for sales people in the expanding southwest sales territory. The company has grown rapidly since its inception in 1992. A new regional facility is necessary to maintain the high level of customer support that Horizon Signal is known for. “I think the company’s rapid growth is due to the acceptance of Horizon Signal as a cutting edge technology which offers high performance and safety” said David Krahulec, Vice President and COO.

Horizon Signal portable traffic control devices eliminate dangers to construction workers and drivers when employed at road construction sites. Horizon Signal provides the ultimate work zone safety equipment, including portable traffic signals, portable traffic lights, actuators, and pedestrian signals. Horizon Signal has been used effectively on work sites and has been approved for use by most states wherever temporary signals (flaggers) are required. Super Quartz technology provides precision timing of traffic light signals. No radio or external cable connections of any kind are required. Besides road construction work, the signals have been used in areas where natural disasters have occurred (like hurricanes), airports, industrial sites where there is a need to control foot or motor traffic, and by border patrol and security personnel.

The company is growing rapidly with expanding job opportunities and growth potential. Currently the company is also seeking an inside sales support person in their Illinois regional office.
