Kwik Fit Insurance Reports Strongest December in a Decade

USA (SANEPR.com) March 3, 2009 -- Kwik Fit Insurance has announced details of a strong finish to 2008 with its best December in more than ten years.

The leading insurance intermediary, based in Uddingston, Lanarkshire, posted its best December new business figures since 1997 as it continues to perform well in the highly competitive marketplace.

The sale of new motor policies were up 12.5% on the same month last year, with Kwik Fit Insurance writing almost 18,000 motor policies for December 2008.

In addition, home insurance policies rose by 20% on December 2007, equating to an additional 3160 policies.

The figures reflect the business’s general good health despite the tough economic climate, with Kwik Fit Insurance continuing to show strong performance in its key areas.

Bert Main, Director of Business Development at Kwik Fit Insurance, attributed the success to the competitive rates offered by the intermediary as it continues to benefit from strong relationships with the UK’s top insurers.

Staff retention, training and expertise continue to be central to the company’s development, as well as the adoption of the online marketplace, with KFI now writing approximately 80% of its new business through web sales.
