Law School Admission Guide Author Ann K. Levine Offers Last Minute Tips for the June LSAT

(SANEPR.com) June 3, 2009 -- Santa Barbara, CA, June 03, 2009 -- The next LSAT administration date is June 8, 2009, and with a reported 11.5% increase in the number of LSATs taken in February, law school admission experts are predicting a surge of applicants in the Fall.

According to law school admission consultant Ann Levine, due to the economic downturn and lack of job prospects for recent college graduates, 2010 promises to be one of the most competitive years for law school admission in recent history.

Levine, author of The Law School Admission Game: Play Like an Expert. recently teamed up with four prominent LSAT strategists to share “Last Minute Tips for LSAT Takers” including:
> How to know if you’re ready for the test.
> How the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) new policy about changing test dates impacts test takers and their decisions about whether to take the June LSAT or wait for the September LSAT date.

“When deciding whether or not to take the June LSAT, remember that LSAC’s new policy about changing test dates means that changing your test date after the May 17, 2009 deadline will count as a cancelled score and therefore as one of the three times you can take the test in two years,” Levine said. “If it’s going to be a cancelled score anyway, law school applicants might as well take the exam and cancel it after to gain the experience of testing conditions for next time.”
