LogicManse Solutions signs MoU with MACFAST on Industry Academy interface programme.

LogicManse Solutions and MACFAST signed an MoU on Industry Academy interface programme. As part of the agreement LogicManse will open its new development centre at MACFAST in Tiruvalla by the Mid of February. The MACFAST industry academy interface is a new initiative in shaping up the students for niche industries.  As part of the programme LogicManse will setup an extended office within the MACFAST campus and will provide an opportunity for the talented students to work as interns. 

The Industry Interface programme of Mar Athanasios College for Advanced Studies, Thiruvalla (MACFAST) was inaugurated by Aswathi Tirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi, member of the royal family of erstwhile Travancore, at Technopark here on Monday. The former director of Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology M.S. Valiathan said the Industry Interface and entrepreneurship development programme of MACFAST was a big step in integrating industry with academia. “There is generally a complete disconnect between the academia and the industry in India. In this kind of unpromising context, the Industry Interface is a big step. Integrating industry-based training with the academic curriculum will make the students more competent in the job market by the end of their course,” he said.
 
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of LogicManse Mr. Suvin K Varkey said that the extended development centre at MACFAST campus will be part of LogicManse’s Research Labs. The first unit in MACFAST center will provide employment opportunity for 100 people with an aim to fill 50% of that with interns. The MACFAST campus center will serve LogicManse's global customers in industry segments like Retail, Education and Government with a focus on technology areas like enterprise solutions and new consumer based portal services which aims to address the domestic market. Commenting further on the new facility, Mr. Varkey  said that it will also increase company's access to skilled professionals and students from in and around Thiruvalla.
