London’s Strip Clubs Play a Staring Role on Film and Television

Finding a suitable bar or club in London to use as a location for use in film or television programmes can often be harder than one thinks. For example, not only does the decor and general ambience of the potential location have to fit in with what the script dictates, but there must also be ample parking close by for the many vehicles a film crew brings with them.

Other considerations such as, will the electrical system cope with all the lighting & sound equipment which will be temporarily installed?' Are the managers willing to cease trading whilst the shoot is underway? Will any neighbouring residents or businesses be affected by the shoot?

Secrets Clubs have 5 unique venues across London, all of which have their own unique exterior and interior and have been used on numerous occasions as locations for popular TV programmes. In May 2007, none other than Madonna choose two of Secrets' clubs, in Hammersmith and Swiss Cottage as locations for the pole dancing scenes of her directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom. The multi-talented star spent several days at Secrets, both auditioning pole dancers and directing her film, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in February 2008
