Low-Run High-Quality Web-Based Printing Service Beanprint.com Goes Live

Redditch, Worcestershire, February 01, 2010 -- The former CTO and co-founder of the business directory Scoot.com, Chris Chedgzoy, has launched his latest venture: Beanprint.com.

The startup web-based business, which went live earlier this month, integrates the internet with the latest digital printing press technology, allowing users themselves to design their promotional material online. This unique approach makes very low quantity print runs possible whilst achieving high-end production results at substantially reduced costs. The service includes complete fulfillment from order to delivery.

“During the last 6 months of 2009, we test ran the system, producing calendars for the glamour industry and for charities – and we proved that our customers were able to order their products as they sold them one-for-one, so they never needed to hold stock,” Chris explained. “We know that fund-raising efforts of many charities fail because so much money ends up being lost in unsold stock of calendars, for example, where large numbers have to be ordered to keep the unit price down or to just meet the printer’s minimum order requirements.”

Chris continues: “We then decided to go one step further and to make it even easier: we decided to offer complete fulfillment as well. So our customer never sees it - we ship out the order on our customer’s behalf.”

Beanprint’s efficient and complete end-to-end service at very low operational costs (that is even able to offer same-day turn around) has been made possible by the company’s own unique and bespoke web-to-print interface which it developed in house. It allows the whole process from order to dispatch to be seamless whilst keeping production staffing costs to a minimum.

The company has many exciting plans in the pipeline including an affiliate scheme and new products as well as an aggressive marketing campaign, all to be announced soon.
