Miramar Addiction and Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center, the leader in dual diagnosis treatment, will be adding additional, licensed clinicians to meet the need and further its prowess in the dual diagnosis treatment field. Already one of only a handful of legitimate dual diagnosis residential treatment facilities, Miramar recognizes a continuing need for expert clinical treatment team members to meet the demand of those patients who suffer with chemical dependency combined with other psychiatric issues.

The new clinicians, who will be added to Miramar’s existing treatment staff are anticipated to be a female licensed Psychologist, a male licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a male Psychologist Post-Doctorate. Each of these three is trained and expert in treating psychiatric illnesses, such as severe depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and others.

A Miramar spokesperson said, ‘the demand for legitimate dual diagnosis treatment programs is significant and we are committed to continue to lead the field with our expert staff.’

Patients at Miramar, who participate in its residential treatment programs, are assessed, initially, by our Psychologist, as well as by one of the treatment team psychologists. A comprehensive treatment plan is devised, according to the findings of the assessment and evaluations. Patients participate in a therapy session of 50 minutes in duration, approximately 4 times per week. Additional sessions often occur for medication management and other purposes. Miramar Drug Rehab or Dual Diagnosis leads the entire treatment industry in terms of one-on-one, individual, therapy sessions facilitated by PhD/PsyD and/or Master’s level therapists.
