MailStore Home Plus email archive cannot be purchased – but you can have it for a good deed

Germany (SANEPR.com) June 25, 2008 -- With MailStore Home Plus the German company deepinvent has enhanced its free email archiving and backup solution by several useful features. New: the Plus-update cannot be purchased and yet isn’t for free. For a donation of US$ 60 (or € 40) to the World Wildlife Fund For Nature (WWF) the version is given out without further costs applied. Alternatively operators or their own website can obtain the Plus- version for promoting MailStore on it.
MailStore Home enables the user to backup all email messages from multiple applications and accounts into one secure and persistent archive. The so archived emails and attachments can be fast-searched, can previewed within MailStore, can be reopened in the local email client and can be backed-up with only one click e.g. by using the integrated CD/DVD burning utility.
All email can be recovered out of the archive at any time in the original version without any loss of information. Thanks to its various export functions MailStore Home can also be used as a helpful migration tool when changing email clients or providers.
With the Plus-update the basic functions of the free MailStore Home are enhanced considerably. So, for example, all archiving tasks can be automated and time scheduled. Moreover MailStore Home Plus has several new functions for the export and backup of the archived emails.
