(SANEPR.com) May 4, 2009 -- Major arms haul recovered in north Kashmir

Srinagar. A major arms haul was recovered by the security forces in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said today.

They said security forces arrested a militant in the five km border area in Kupwara recently.

Later the militant took the security forces to some hideouts in the woods, they said adding a large cache of arms and ammunition were recovered.

It was a major achievement during this year, the sources said.

The recovery included sophisticated weapons, they said adding further details were awaited.
