Metaformers Selected to Upgrade the City of Los Angeles to PeopleSoft 9.0

(SANEPR.com) April 2, 2008 -- Metaformers, Inc., an enterprise solution architect firm specializing in PeopleSoft and Oracle E-Business Suite solutions, will upgrade the City of Los Angeles PeopleSoft Financials solution from version 8.8 to 9.0.

Metaformers relationship with the City of Los Angeles has focused on addressing critical issues and increasing the return on the City’s investment in their PeopleSoft release 8.8 Financials/Supply Chain solution. The City determined that an upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.0 in partnership with the Solution Architects from Metaformers would enable them to move towards delivered, best practice use of the PeopleSoft solution and to streamline business processes. Additionally, using delivered capabilities with PeopleSoft 9.0, the City of Los Angeles will be satisfying their requirement to capture encumbrance activity within their General Ledger.
