Data from two different contests, the Natural Weight For Optimized Living™ Chubby Hubby Contest on Phoenix Radio Mix 96.9 and The Bride’s Battle of the Bulge Challenge on John Jay and Rich’s 104.7 Kiss-FM showed that men lost on average 33% more of their total body weight than the women during a 7 week contest period.

The group of 5 women lost a respectable 82 lbs, representing an average loss of 10% of their body weight. The group of 6 men topped that with a whopping 250 lbs lost; it translated to an average loss of 13.0% of their body weight over the same period.

Why do men lose weight faster than women?
