T Cakes & I Productions, LLC, the production company which successfully mounted two hit engagements of the classic melodrama “East Lynne,” and began 2007 with a bang with it’s rendition of the 60s comedy, “Butterflies Are Free” is back with a new, original, gay romantic comedy, “My Husband Is My Sister-In-Law”.

In this refreshingly hilarious, poignant, comedy, Julian Webster, the Vice President of Programming at the Hosanna Network, has a problem. He is up for promotion to head of the network. Julian’s fate hinges on being tapped by the network’s ratings grabbing, program hostess and self-proclaimed “Equal Opportunity Bigot”, Miss Amber Tammy. So, where’s the problem? Julian is a closeted gay and Miss Amber Tammy is coming to his home to check him out before making her decision. Julian now faces losing it all. Enter, Lizzie, the waitress/playwright who marries him for the money to put her first work on stage and unknowingly becomes his beard. Lizzie innocently invites her brother, James, to a little get together as Miss Amber Tammy’s date only to find out that he is Julian’s “ex” who left him because he would not come out of the closet. Can Julian and Lizzie pull this off and win this promotion for Julian without Miss Amber Tammy learning of his homosexuality? Or, will James’ pleas for Julian to come out of the closet and return to him win the day?
