Nominate your SA remedial educator of 2008!

South Africa (SANEPR.com) April 28, 2008 -- Teaching can be a pretty thankless profession at the best of times in South Africa. Teachers are constantly under time pressure as well as pressure to develop material, liaise with parents and ultimately to ensure children successfully pass through the education year.

Very often these teachers do not receive much in the way of financial or professional recognition for their efforts and yet they continue to deliver year after year. RemSpecED (www.remspeced.co.za) has decided to try and recognise the efforts of these teachers by facilitating the RemSpecED educators of 2008 programme.

RemSpecED is now inviting nominations from our community for people they believe have made a great contribution to Remedial & Special Education in South Africa. There will be 3 small sponsored prizes up for grabs as well as a profile on the educator on our website.

The only criteria for these particular awards are that they must have made a contribution to the Remedial & Special Education teaching community in South Africa. We invite people to submit a brief e-mail to us via newsdesk@rival.co.za highlighting their nomination and why they believe they have been such a valuable contributor.

The winners will be announced in October 2008.
