Water is the rare resource of Middle East Area. It is not only the guarantee for peace, but also would be the last straw of a war. At present, 85% of the Jordan River's fresh water still are applied to agriculture. With the construction change of industry, in relevant countries, the ratio of farm produce in the national economy and employment is greatly reducing. In Jordan, agriculture absorbs 10% of national work force, and uses 75% of its whole gained fresh water, but the output is just 6% of its gross domestic product. Israel absorbs only 3% of work force into agriculture, and uses 79% of gained fresh water, but the output of agriculture just occupies 3% of its gross domestic product.

However, except for shortage of water resource, Middle East Area faces the problems of water pollution and recycling, and also needs some water treatment equipment for industrial and domestic water.
