Following February’s reports that the Office of Fair Trading and the Ministry of Justice have launched an official crackdown on the recent “rash” of bogus television adverts from claims management firms featuring misleading statements, lawyers at Net Lawman have seen a noticeable increase in the number of enquiries for their Expert Legal Advice service, as people search for ways to gain accurate legal advice without the hefty price tag.
Miriam Taylor, spokesperson for Net Lawman says that whilst there are a number of charities available to offer advice and support, many people want the added reassurance of speaking to a legal expert who fully understands the process and any possible actions that their debtors could take.
“Many people are desperate to speak to a legal expert about their situation but in the current climate, most cannot afford to pay the fees for a high street solicitor to see them. We have created our Expert Legal Advice service to help people obtain reliable and accurate legal advice from the comfort of their home and for about a third of the cost of a high street solicitor,” says Taylor.
Net Lawman’s Expert Legal Advice service by e-mail is a ‘pay as you go’ service that enables the user to pay for credits of time, allowing them to retain full control of the expense of any legal advice obtained. The team can advise on almost any legal subject and all responses are provided by e-mail, usually within 24 hours. The team can also draw letters and other legal documents and legal agreements as part of the service if required.
“Our Expert Legal Advice service is a great way to gain a greater understanding of your position and the various options available to you. It is important to remember that you may need further, more detailed support as you carry your case forward and we cannot advise you on aspects you do not advise us about, so it is important to express your problem as clearly as possible from the onset,” advises Taylor.
