Ramadan celebrations on City 7 TV

‘Iftarna’ - a profile of Ramadan cookery, ‘Celebrating Ramadan’ - an insight into the traditions of Ramadan and the ‘Ahlamokum’ (Your dreams) - an entertaining never seen before concept on dream interpretation.

The excitement is heightened with one of the shows being live and interactive with phone ins which our experts will respond to.

‘IFTARNA’ is a daily cooking show that demonstrates quick, easy and healthy dishes to provide a guide to the day’s Iftar food preparations. It brings you studio cooking with a line up of delectable dishes for Iftar prepared in a culinary ambience and by the well known chef from one of Dubai’s premier hotel chains, The Grosvenor House.

Our chefs display their cooking prowess on Arabic and international cuisines and their speciality on Iftar dishes. They give out tips on how to cook these mouth watering yet healthy scrumptious recipes that appeal to wide range of viewers, irrespective of whether they are fasting or not. The show is the station’s effort to increase awareness on the importance of healthy diet whilst observing Ramadan.
Launching 13th September, Sundays to Saturdays

‘CELEBRATING RAMADAN’ is a daily Ramadan special half an hour show featuring Professor Abdul Monem Bellah - a renowned Islamic scholar whose views on Islam are based more on real life requirements and situations as they exist today as a way of life. Dr. Bellah had been hosting Islamic and Ramadan themed shows for over twenty years.

‘Celebrating Ramadan’ is an in-depth showcase on the holy month of Ramadan, the culture and deep tradition, the way of life from a local perspective. Each episode of ‘Celebrating Ramadan’ examines a different aspect of the holy month. Professor Bellah educates the audience on the significance of dates, practices and Muslim traditions and ultimately, enlightens them on the spirit of Ramadan, whilst emphasizing the fundamental truth of the Islamic culture. The viewers will experience the manner in which an Emirati family celebrates Ramadan as they break their fast with relatives and occasionally, members of the UAE Royal Family. Broadcasting throughout the week starting 13th September.


AHLAMOKUM (your dreams) is a live show hosted by Lara Tabet with the help of dream experts Tarek Bu Jussaim; a product of Dubai College and Sheikh Adeeb Al Kamadani; a celebrated UAE Islamic scholar, who had an indepth study on dreams as per the Sahri’a law.

The show allows viewers to email or call in live and interact with the host whilst their dreams are being interpreted by these two distinguished scholars.

Together, they will shed light on the meaning of the recurring as well as frightful dreams and their impact on real life.
