The U.S. Census Bureau recently reported that over 5.4 million mothers put their careers on hold to stay home with children. After having children, many women yearn not only for the freedom and flexibility to work from home to nurture their children, but also to continue their professional pursuits in a more flexible and accommodating way.
Mompreneur Lesley Spencer Pyle is founder & director of HBWM.com, Inc (Home-Based Working Moms™), a professional association and online community of parents who work from home and those who would like to. She started the company in 1995 out of her deep desire to spend more time with her children and now wants to help other parents reach that same goal.
HBWM.com provides its members with support, networking, free advertising options, information, a monthly newsletter, organizing tool kit, email discussion list, searchable member directory, member spotlights and corporate discounts on various products and services.
