Rinkya’s Yousei (Elves) Celebrate The Year of the Beer (Dragon) for the 5th Annual Report

Rinkya’s Yousei (elves) ,who dwell deep within the Rinkya warehouse packing and shipping Japanese goods to the rest of the world , gave us their observations for our 5th Annual Report on the hottest selling items from Japan. This year they were happily serving cookies with Beer instead of milk.

Beer? “Yes, Beer” said the big-bellied,slyly grinning Yousei in charge of Rinkya Stores .
“This was the Year of the Beer! Our entire stock of the Beer Hour- Can Dispenser and Foamer sold out before it was even released in May. Most of them shipped to Brazil- obviously the happening place to visit! “ Apparently, one beer dispenser hadn’t left Japan since there was a tell-tale trace of foam on his mustache. “In fact”, he chuckled, “every pre-order beer gadget went “South” including the “Awa Master” Beer Bubble Maker and custom-made One Piece Beer Mugs.”

Japan could not live on Beer alone ,so we asked a younger Yousei what was hot in Japan? “Girls” he said . “Girl Groups are HOT. AKB48 has over 200 girls in the group and sold over 10 million records. Morning Musume is another HOT girl group. We are shipping CD’s, photos, and memorabilia from Japanese Girl Bands all over the world. We are even selling tickets to concerts in Japan for groups like Scandal. Here at Rinkya ,we certainly don’t see a decline in Tourism to Japan” he winked.

“Harajuku Girls” interrupted the Yousei Fashionista.” The Cyberpunk style has kicked Japanese Street Fashions along with Visual Kei to streets all over the world. You won’t find Harajuku fashionistas on a Paris runway!!”

A stressed out Yousei stated that “the latest trend was pre-orders of Angelic Pretty Lucky Bags, and Baby the Stars Shine Bright ,Limited Edition Dolls, and Games . Konami’s “Metal Gear Series” and “Castlevania, and Capcom’s “Resident Evil”, “Street Fighter”, and “Mega Man” are gone. Sold out. It’s amazing and on Amazon.jp!”

“The top prize went to the Toy Department”, according to the Yousei CEO. ” I was a nervous wreck until that super rare museum quality Jumbo Machinder Q9 Rokuron safely reached its new owner in Italy. We really earned our beer on toys!!
