Rotimi Rainwater helms for Our Stories Films

USA (SANEPR.com) March 30, 2009 -- USA (SANEPR.com) March 30, 2009 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. EVAN ROSS has signed on to star in the independent feature film, FOUR TO THE FLOOR. TRACEY EDMONDS and OUR STORIES FILMS have signed on to produce the film which will be helmed ROTIMI RAINWATER. FOUR TO THE FLOOR, is the semi autobiographical tale of four friends, whose love of dance, lead them on one last road trip before going to college. Inspired by RAINWATER’s youth, the film deals with four friends who face death, heartbreak, and the obstacles of youth. Seen through the eyes of the lead character TOMMY (ROSS), FOUR TO THE FLOOR starts off as a journey across the country and ends up being a journey to manhood for these young men. FOUR TO THE FLOOR was written by RAINWATER who most recently shot the documentary feature “SP!T”. When asked what drew her to the project EDMONDS said, “Most films that incorporate dance have great dance scenes but very weak stories. What I loved about FOUR TO THE FLOOR is that for once, we have a dance driven film where the story is EVEN better than the dancing. It’s the first time I’ve seen these types of genres so successfully combined.” The film’s financing is being handled by GRAHAM TAYLOR at ENDEAVOR INDEPENDENT, and plans on shooting in late May.
