Rotimi Rainwater searches for

USA (SANEPR.com) September 25, 2008 -- ROTIMI RAINWATER has signed on to direct the independent documentary film, "THE MEANING OF LIFE". Through interviews with academics, spiritual leaders, and celebrities, THE MEANING OF LIFE is the journey of the director on his search for that age old question, "The Meaning of Life". Through a series of interviews with celebrities, spiritual leaders, and regular people, we hope to help people understand why we are here. ROTIMI RAINWATER most recently shot the documentary feature “SP!T”, and is also signed on to direct the independent feature, TRUCKSTOP, starring RACHEL MINER and MIMI ROGERS. "People ask me why I want to continue directing documentaries while making the transition to narratives. I think that docs are an amazing conduit to truth which is what all of us should strive for. And this film gives me the opportunity to search for the truth to that age old question." Says RAINWATER. SUSAN WRIGHT will produce the film with ROTIMI RAINWATER in a co-production between THE CRITERION GROUP and VILLAGE ENTERTAINMENT. The film’s sales are being handled by GRAHAM TAYLOR at ENDEAVOR INDEPENDENT, and plans on shooting from late September through February in Botswana, Uganda, Thailand, and the U.S.
