SA Manufacturing report goes interactive

South Africa (SANEPR.com) July 3, 2008 -- The 2008 SA Manufacturing Assessed industrial report from ManufacturingHub.co.za will include an interactive portion to its offering when it is released in October 2008.

Managing Editor Marc Ashton says “Technology is great and the fact that the report is being distributed on CD will mean that we will be able to build in sound and video clips, interactive diagrams as well as the hard text based aspects of the report will make for an extremely useful tool for people playing in the manufacturing space”.

Following on feedback from the 2008 report the focus has shifted slightly from comments on the equity landscape around food, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers operating in South Africa, to a more operational based offering. Ashton says “We will be looking more around the technology going into SA manufacturing operations as well as the relevant supplier outlooks for these industries”.

Since announcing the report last week, ManufacturingHub.co.za has already seen enquiries from multi-national manufacturing firms, IT firms and companies operating in the investment industry in South Africa.
