Sydney, Australia (SANEPR.com) January 19, 2009 -- Through Samsung Hope, a philanthropic initiative aimed at improving the lives of disadvantaged children and youth living with serious illnesses, Samsung Electronics will share its grant across three Variety charities - Variety Caring for Kids Program, Variety Future Kids Program and Variety Scholarships.
The various grants will work towards encouraging underprivileged children to achieve their own success and embrace opportunities made available. The distribution of the remainder amount will be decided by Australians who visit the site and make a free pledge to their favoured charity.
“Through Samsung Hope, we are working with underprivileged children to help make their dreams a reality”, said Kurt Jovais, Director of Marketing, Samsung Australia. “Just as we create and enhance lifestyles for consumers through technology, Samsung Hope is designed to create and enhance the lifestyles of underprivileged children living in Australia”
