SPDW Dance hosts 2nd annual Ladies Night at G Boutique 7/31/08.

G Boutique is located at 2131 N. Damen Ave. in Chicago. Benefit admission is $25, and includes drinks, food with an eclectic Latin twist from Café 28, a raffle, toy talk and a fashion show. Last year’s event was such fun and such a success that SPDW Dance decided to make it an annual affair. G Boutique generously donates a percentage of all sales from the event to the dance company. The more goodies guests purchase the higher the percentage-the more guests contribute to SPDW’s success. “With women being the largest segment of our demographic, we wanted to have an event that celebrated our power and femininity – G Boutique is the perfect fit. Last year, women from 18 to 65 came together to support the company, and each other, as they re-discovered the joy of sisterhood” says SPDW’s Executive Director Katie Saifuku LaVarre. G Boutique is a concept developed by women, for women- offering beautiful lingerie and erotica.

This year’s SPDW Ladies Night is sponsored in part by Café 28, donating Cuban-Mexican cuisine with an eclectic Latin twist – just the thing to spice up the evening. Also included in the $25 admission fee are drinks, a special presentation by G Boutique and a lingerie fashion show featuring SPDW Dance Theatre’s dancers.
