Sacramento Gives Administrative Nod to the Personal Trainers Association "PROPTA"

Los Angeles, CA, March 02, 2010 -- The Los Angeles based Personal Trainers Association (PROPTA), the top certification body worldwide for physical fitness trainers has been accredited by the State of California Approving Agency for Veterans Education (CSAAVE) as a service provider authorized for a larger reimbursement under the GI Bill.

The accreditation by CSAAVE means that active duty military, veterans, and eligible spouses and dependents seeking coveted PROPTA certification in the fields of physical training and sports nutrition can now receive Veterans Administration reimbursement of their applicable professional certification expenses.

The Personal Trainers Association offers both training courses and certification testing. The variety of training schedules now includes custom curriculum in five languages. Coursework is delivered online, through DVD-based materials or is provided individually in an academy setting and One-on-One by Professional Athletes Worldwide. The organization has affiliate gyms located throughout the United States as well as in 120 countries overseas. Since 2007 it has also arranged weekend seminars at facilities around the country to help meet growing demand.
