You can easily apply several actions to an image in a sequential manner: for example you can resize the image first, and then adjust brightness, and there is no limit to how complex action sequences can be. Actions can be selected from Office-2007-like drop-down galleries, where they are organized into appropriate categories.

Layers make it possible to apply actions to either parts of the image or overlayed objects (like watermarks) that are then blended together with the original image using one of the many blend modes. With more than 20 color blend modes, advanced alpha-blending, size and positioning options, layers let you create very complex and impressive effects.
