India. (SANEPR.com) October 28, 2007 -- This is a new ray of light for every merchant navy officer!

After about 40 days of closed alpha & lot of research, seafolks.com is open for world-class seafarers from all over the world. Seafarers from all over the world will finally be delighted to see their problems getting heard.

A 2007 report on seafarers’ welfare around the world says, welfare facilities for seafarers as they have been provided up until now are no longer meeting present day needs. It says that this calls for a radical rethink about the way such services are structured. SeaFolks.com will an answer to all those issues soon. It wishes to be the voice of every marine officer. One of the main focuses of SeaFolks.com is to help mariners reduce their stress on board. SeaFolks will be a bridge for the connections between seafarers and the people ashore who matters the most to them, by providing new perspectives for one another, basically to seek emotional support. This is a new ray of light for every merchant navy officer!
