Oman (SANEPR.com) June 30, 2008 -- The formal announcement of Shanfari Automotive Co.’s appointment was made at a press conference held at the Wattayah showroom in the presence of Shanfari Group and Chrysler International officials, media representatives and guests.
Commenting on the occasion, Sheikh Adil Al Shanfari, Vice Chairman and CEO of Shanfari Group of Companies said, “We are extremely delighted to introduce our new partnership which brings the world’s most alluring automotive brands – Chrysler and Dodge under our distributorship.”
On the significance of this partnership, Sheikh Shanfari explained, “Being appointed as the distributors for Chrysler and Dodge comes at a crucial time for Shanfari Automotive which is now further strengthening its organisational structure. The new managerial team will contribute to ensure the highest standards of service and value to our partners and customers in Oman. Our future strategies to market Chrysler, Dodge as well as our existing brand, Jeep, will constitute an aggressive action plan and investments in our showroom facilities, staff as well as services.”
Established in 1982, Shanfari Automotive has branches and services facilities in Muscat and Salalah, with more than 120 employees.

Situated in Wattayah, Shanfari Automotive maps a nationwide expansion in the distributor network to provide Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge sales, service and parts for various regions across the Sultanate. Developments to accommodate Chrysler and Dodge at the company’s Wattayah site are also being reviewed and planned in a phased manner. Phase one includes the shifting of the vehicles to the head office showroom at Al Khuwair by the end of 2008. Following which, the phase two is the reconstruction of the Wattayah showroom to become the first fully Corporate Identity compliant showroom in Oman.
Shanfari Automotive has officially opened their doors for the sale and servicing of all Chrysler and Dodge vehicles with special benefits such as low interest rate financing, guaranteed buy back and free servicing (on certain terms and conditions).
