Small Betta Hobbyist's Website Passes 13,000 Visitors Per Month, 600 Subcribers

Betta World (www.caringforbettafish.org) has just passed a new milestone for it's sole owner and operator, Trent Gallamore, hitting 13,000 unique visitors within October alone, and there's still four days left!

When Betta fish hobbyist Trent Gallamore started his own blog and website just three months ago, he didn't expect much. However, his site's pages have been attracting between 400 and 600 people per day he says, and it's still growing. Apparently, most of the traffic is due to his pages being ranked for multiple keywords in various search engines.

Additionally, Gallamore says over 600 people have signed up for his "Betta Care Secrets" emails, in which he helps people new to keeping this particular species of fish become Betta care experts with 10 days of free lessons and tips.

Gallamore says feedback has been great, and several people on the site's list have sent him thank you emails with stories about how they've looked forward to the daily tips or how a certain lesson helped them overcome a hurdle they were having with their pet.

"It's always a great feeling hearing back from people," Gallamore said, "And I always respond personally so people know I'm really there, willing to help with whatever I can."

In addition to hints and tips, Gallamore also reviews several Betta care guides (primarily ebooks that can be purchased online) and Betta products that he's used in the past to help new owners make informed purchasing decisions.
