SriLankan Airlines launches the all new Serendib Treasures Collection

India (SANEPR.com) November 19, 2008 -- SriLankan Airlines has launched its all new Serendib Treasures on-board duty-free collection for the Winter Season, with a completely fresh range of name-brand fragrances, cosmetics, watches, jewellery, children’s delights, and liquor.

Jehan Karunaratne, Manager Inflight Service Support, said: “The Serendib Treasures collection has been completely reinvented following the change in management of Sri Lanka’s National Carrier, and features 173 products of which 80% are newly introduced.”

The Serendib Treasures collection is a favourite among international travellers, and SriLankan recorded an all-time high in sales last year, with prices that are lower than those in airport duty free shops.

Significantly, Serendib Treasures now features many of Sri Lanka’s own name brand items, as well as those of the most famous global brands.

The number of items in all segments has been increased, to include the latest designer products.
