Star Majha - Junior Anchor Hunt a hit

As part of the Children's day celebration, Star Majha, the number 1 Marathi News channel from MCCS launched a "Junior Anchor Hunt" talent contest.

The hunt started on 4th of November through a Television campaign which resulted in a huge response from children across Maharashtra on Audition day. The audition venue was inundated with children in a festival like atmosphere with excitable children eager to be on camera.

The Anchor Hunt was for 3 age groups 6-8, 8-10 and 10-12 years. 20 children were shortlisted based on their wit, humor, voice and confidence levels from which 9 finalists will be shortlisted to finally co host shows on Star Majha on Children's day.

This event has been sponsored by Kores Samrat Pencils which is a leading stationery brand for over 75 years.
