The China International Exhibition on Label Printing Technology (Sino-Label 08)

Hong Kong, China. (SANEPR.com) October 23, 2007 -- Global label printing market is developing fast with an annual growth rate of 3%-6% in recent years. In China, development of the industry is even more impressive with an annual growth rate of 20%. Guangdong Province and Hong Kong is the largest production base of label printing in the country accounting for 67% of the country’s total label printing output. Southern China has become a key and strategic region of label printing industry players.

“The China International Exhibition on Label Printing Industry”(also known as “Sino-Label”) is the largest international and professional label printing show in Southern China. It will be held again during March 4-7, 2008 at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou. The show will cover label printing machinery, bar code printer, RFID label machinery, anti-counterfeit technology, label security solutions & applications, self-adhesive materials, testing equipment & accessories, label design, etc. It will cover the entire value chain on the technology for label printing, decoration, manufacturing, processing and application in China.

Sino-Label 08 is built on the success of its 2007 edition. In Sino-Label 07, renowned companies including Lintec, Taiyo, Wanan, Label Long, Kyang Yhe, Zhongtian, Haotian, Gold Fai, Wutong, Jenki, Avery Dennison, Zhongshan Fuzhou, Bao Zhong Bao, King Label, etc. took prominent presence and displayed their latest label printing technologies, equipment and materials, etc. With the good participation results attained in 2007, many of the exhibitors have already confirmed their participation / reserved exhibition space in Sino-Label 08.

China’s existing per capital label consumption is only 0.5m2-0.6m2, far less than that of other countries which reached 10 m2 +. Vast development opportunities hence can be found in the China label printing market. Applications of labels in China have already penetrated in food, drinks, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electronic products industries, etc. With the increasing shortening of product life cycles in the above industries, demand for various kinds of labels are increasing significantly. It is estimated that in the forthcoming years, China’s label printing industry will grow at a rate of 30%+.

Sino-Label 08 will be held concurrently with Printing South China 2008 and Sino-Pack 2008. The two shows have over 14 years’ experience and are the leading exhibitions of its kinds in Southern China region. Gross area of the three shows will reach 60,000 sq.m. and the three events will bring the maximum synergy effect to one another.
