The Guilty Comes Out Responsible For A Cyclist’s Death

djboom, May 8, 2009: The case which has been remained as a mystery now has been solved involving the death of a cyclist, 35 years old, Olivia Merchant. The accident has taken place in Toronto, two weeks ago, leaving the family of the deceased one in absolute agony.
Olivia was the only daughter of her parents who were in a state of mournful shock at hearing the news of her death. She was riding a bicycle, going to see her friend when on Tuesday, 11 April, at 3.30 pm; she got hit by a car driver and lost her life. The police officials arrived at the accident scene soon after the accident happened and stared their investigations.
Their investigations have borne the fruit and the responsible person behind Olivia’s tragic death has been traced out. Nancy Paul has been declared the guilty one who did not stopped at the accident scene after hitting Olivia’s cycle and nor did she take her to the hospital where she could have gained some medical assistance.
The investigations were fruitful in the sense that the guilty person who caused the accident, was now taken to the police officials. Important clues that led to Nancy Paul were the broken piece of her car grille and rear wheel well.
The investigators took these pieces to the car workshops where they were told which type of cars had these types of grilles and rear wheel wells. Then they contacted all the related workshops where these broken pieces could be repaired. And they got succeeded when they were told by the owner of one workshop that a car was brought to them asking these repairs to be made. And that car belonged to Nancy Paul.
In the beginning, she did not accept her crime and insisted that she had met an accident with a car the other day after the accident had happened. She faked all the details in order to befool the police officials. But soon, all the truth came out of her and she owned her crime.
She has pleaded for no contest and agreed going to jail and paying the compensation. Her stay in jail will be around 18 to 20 months. She has shown deep remorse for the accident and has told to he family members including Olivia’s parents and brothers that she did not mean to bring this misfortune to their family. She said that se herself is deeply moved by Olivia’s death and she did not intend Olivia to go through all this. To this, Olivia’s parents and her two brothers have agreed. They have agreed to Nancy’s plea for no contest where she is ready to be held accountable and to go to the jail.
