The WTM Brings Egypt New Recovery Signals

The World Travel Market, the travel industry's leading global event is staged annually in London marking a vibrant platform for the travel trade to meet and conduct business. Each year, the WTM brings Travco new business partnerships and prestigious recognitions, this year bringing Egypt coveted recognition that represented the rising of new recovery signals in the Egyptian tourism sector's horizon.

Since the negative impacts of the unrest penetrated the sector, Travco Group maintained its faith in the resilience of the Egyptian tourism sector and didn’t doubt its capability in rebounding slowly but surely. One of the latest developments is Jaz Blumarine, a neighboring property to the existing Iberotel Aquamarine Resort in Hurghada. More interesting developments that are underway in Sharm El Sheikh are Jaz Alcazar Sharm and Jaz Mirabel Blue. Jaz Alcazar Sharm is a resort comprising of 609 guest rooms including family and superior rooms, and suites and villas, featuring all standard amenities, and hotel facilities include a shopping arcade, two swimming pools and a kids’ pool, amphitheatre, health club and multipurpose courts, in addition to five restaurants offering different cuisines. As for Jaz Mirabel Blue, it is part of the Jaz Mirabel complex located in Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh. This cozy property boasts 174 guest rooms, four restaurants and bars, three swimming pools with 12 water slides, and a Spa. Of course all guests at Jaz Mirabel Blue have access to all facilities offered within the Mirabel Complex. The company’s latest addition on the Nile is Jaz Yakouta. A dahabeya comprising of only six cabins, this new floating hotels redefines the meaning of cruising in luxury. Management also unveiled that the company’s portfolio will be welcoming new additions by 2015. These will include 300-room new resort in Sahl Hashish and 800 new rooms in Madinat Makadi. Moreover, two city hotels in Alexandria and Giza are also scheduled.
